Director/actor/producer Kelsey Grammar has been announced as the host for the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards.

Grammar has directed himself, including around 40 episodes of Frasier.

DGA prez Taylor Hackford said the following during his announcement:

We’re thrilled to welcome Kelsey Grammer as the host of the DGA Awards. With his acerbic wit, his mellifluous voice and his long experience in the entertainment industry, the evening promises to be just as irreverent, intimate and entertaining as always. We’re looking forward to it.

Other shows Grammar has directed include Everybody Hates Chris, Out of Practice and My Ex Life.

He has also nominated for his own DGA and can be seen on Starz' Boss.

The UK's HM Revenue & Customs is sending a stern warning to those who showed their collections at London Fashion Week: don't exploit your interns!

Letters were sent out to 102 fashions houses after they discovered some were treating their interns like employees, but didn't pay them the national minimum wage.

Michelle Wyer, the assistant director for the National Minimum Wage, says that's a big no-no:

"These letters give fashion houses plenty of warning that they are under scrutiny. If they are not playing by the rules, now is the time to put things right. Non-payment of the national minimum wage is not an option. Our message is clear: don't wait for us to come knocking on your door; put things right now and avoid a penalty and possible prosecution."

Maybe all fashion weeks should adopt this policy because we all know it's happening in New York, Paris and Milan too.

Walmart might soon have even more legal issues to deal with.

Walmart Stores Inc has reported in a securities filing that it has started an internal investigation to determine if employees have bribed foreign officials.

The SEC filing yesterday states that Walmat began a voluntary internal review of its policies relating to its global anti-corruption compliance program.

They stated:

"The company has begun an internal investigation into whether certain matters, including permitting, licensing and inspections, were in compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

The company has voluntarily disclosed its internal investigation to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.”

Looks like this might be a huge issue for the company to deal with, though they remain optimistic that it won't interfere with its daily business.

Michael Lohan was removed from his court ordered treatment center today in order to undergo heart surgery. Seems Papa Lohan is in need of some attention to an important artery that is current very clogged.

A few weeks ago, Michael had trouble breathing and his doctors believed the difficulty stemmed from his cold unfeeling heart. He is currently undergoing a procedure to "repair a blockage."

But once his ticker is back in working order, Mike will be returned to the treatment center -- and stay there until he is no longer so free with his hands and mouth.

Nearly a year ago, we heard word that Universal Studios Hollywood wanted a Wizarding World of Harry Potter of their own.

Now, we are INCREDIBLY excited to report that Universal Studios and Warner Bros have decided to invest $200 million in a second Wizarding World here in Hollywood!!!!!!

Assuming all goes according to plan, a 2015 opening date for the theme park is expected.

We still can't get over how a-mazing this is! We're gonna need at least 15 people to pinch us to convince us that we're not dreaming!!!

This isn’t good news for teen store fave Claire’s.

The accessories and jewelry chain which caters to the tween/teen population saw a decline in profits in its third quarter.

Reports show their income dropped 48% to $1.9 million. Last year they brought in $3.6 million.

And while their US stores saw a small 2.2% rise in sales, their European stores saw a 7.1% drop.

The company’s CEO revealed:

"While we are clearly disappointed with our same-store sales performance in both operating divisions during the third quarter, we believe we have identified the contributing factors and developed the actions we need to take to improve near-term and future performance. Our global team is dedicated to delivering the best possible result and I am confident in their ability to achieve our objectives."

As for their fourth quarter projections, it’s slightly down as well, primarily due to their European stores.

Let's hope they can get their numbers up.

The 28 year old Like Crazy actress' will make her advertising debut in January for the release of the Kohl Collection.
